A find in a change machine
The member meandyou4ever0 shared a coin with the words "Laundromat change machine find." They wrote that they were surprised and at first thought it was a token of some kind.
Other members said it was the first one they had seen. Joshua Lemons wrote that they had not yet seen any new 2026 coins and called it an early find. KBBPLL also noted that it was found early in the year.
Views on the design
Jeffjay asked whether the reverse was the same as one on an early commemorative. KBBPLL replied that it is pretty much identical to the reverse of the 1920-21 Pilgrim commemorative. KBBPLL also called it a bizarre choice to put the 1620 Mayflower on a 1776 commemorative. Jeffjay agreed.
