Finds reported by posters
- AvgCollector wrote that they once found a 1906 Indian Head penny in a roll of pennies at work. - chicken_little reported going through six rolls of pennies with no "wheaties," but finding a 1968-S and a 1972-D. - boston wrote that they bought Jefferson rolls on eBay and ended up with nearly 80 "RPM's or multiple strike mint marks." boston said they were waiting for a CONECA update before attributing some of them. - atrox001 reported finding a "73S DDO-002" in a roll of "73S Kennedy's" (as written by the poster). - lakebreeze wrote that they made out a list for their wife of what to look for at her place of business, and that they check pocket change. According to lakebreeze, their wife has found "maybe a dozen or so" proof quarters, dimes and nickels from the '60s. - benk1234 reported getting $150 in half dollars at the bank and finding three "40%" coins at a quick glance, one of them a 1968 S. - julzboi661 listed their results from eight rolls of nickels, including 16 Keelboats, 10 Bison and 6 Peace medal. - TOLS196024 reported going through a box of nickels and finding 42 pre-1960 coins, a 1989-S proof, wartime 1943-P, 1945-P and 1945-S nickels, and a 1913-S Type 1 Buffalo nickel. TOLS196024 wrote that it was the oldest and most valuable nickel they had pulled from a roll so far.

A roll of half dollars about five years before the post
benk1234 also described an experience from about five years before the post. A bank teller offered benk1234 a roll of halves that a man had brought in. At 50 cents apiece, the roll held 4 Franklin halves, 10 "walkers," 5 Barbers and an 1878 Seated Half.
