The Mayflower Compact quarter is the first of these coins to roll out in circulation. It will also be the first to become available from the U.S. Mint in rolls and bags. Rolls and bags of this quarter go on sale on February 5.
The Design
The obverse shows two Pilgrims looking toward the New World. The Pilgrims signed the Mayflower Compact to establish a colony in place of the charter they had originally intended.
